BBTB: Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

This is the story of a worthless, lecherous man that was killed in a car accident. After his death he opens his eyes to see a man and woman, who are his new parents. Reincarnation is an interesting twist to this anime and in it the man retains all his former knowledge, skills as well as his insecurities. As a former man he was a loser shut-in because he was bullied in school and it caused him to enter a constant depression and emotional damage.
Even though he is a lecher, he is still a likable and very often a pitiable character. The show details his life growing up and his innate ability to use magic in this new world. A tragic mana based disaster splits up his friends and family and the latter part of first season involves the characters trying to find their lost loved ones. It is funny in places and also incredibly sad in others which makes it quite a compelling story.
I give this anime a 5 out of 5 arbitrary points. Definitely binge worthy in my opinion.
