BBTB: The Angry Birds Movie (Movie, 2014)

The Angry Birds Movie is a movie loosely based off of the Angry Birds series of games. The main character, Red, just does not fit in with his bird brethren. All the other birds are happy and friendly while he is angry and anti-social. Things become even worse when the pigs arrive, he is ridiculed and made out to be a liar time and again by the pigs. Ultimately the pigs betray the birds, which is obvious if you have ever played the games, and the birds must rely on Red's anger to help rescue the eggs stolen from them.
A cute and funny animated film based off a video game/app, this movie is actually better than I had expected it to be. Movies based on games are notoriously bad and thus one is, well pretty good in comparison.
I give this movie 3.5 out of 5 arbitrary points. Worth a watch if you like animated films.
