BBTB: Mike Tyson's Punch-out (NES)

You play as "Little Mac" the consummate tiny boxer compared to the beasts he must deal with. First up is Glass Joe, this man has a glass jaw and because of this he is taken care of very easily. The fights quickly increase in difficulty though and it becomes a lot of trial and error and learning their timing and moves, which make the fights easy once you figure it out. Ultimately you play until you reach Mister Mike Tyson himself. He will pulverize you if you aren't quick and your timing isn't perfect and he can take you down in one hit in most cases. I recall the first time I fought Mike myself, he made short work of me. I tried time and again and was finally able to land some hits here and there, but I never could beat the monstrosity known as Mike. I give this game 4.5 out of 5 arbitrary points. I loved this game as a kid and still pick it up now and again to relive my former "boxing" days. Enjoy!
