BBTB: Starlink: Internet for the World

I originally posted about the Starlink project a couple years ago, but now that it is nearing completion it is becoming much more exciting. The project has been set in motion by billionaire Elon Musk and it is a system of thousands of satellites that will circle the globe in low orbit and provide the majority of the world with high speed internet access. This is just one more step in globalization making the world just that little bit smaller.

The project is now in a sort of "beta" test phase for 2020 and for North America but will be rolling out to include the rest of the world sometime in 2021. You can sign up for news and services for your area at the Starlink Site.
