BBTB: A Hat in Time (PC)

A Hat in Time is a classic style 3D platformer much in the same vein as Super Mario: Odyssey. You play as a young girl that is traveling home in her spaceship when she suddenly encounters a man that appears to be part of the Russian mafia and puts a hole in her ship.
This causes her and all of her magical hourglasses, which also happen to power her ship, to spew out of the hole and fall to the planet below. Does the story make sense? No, it does not. Does it matter? Not really, much of the wackiness that happens in this place is really funny. Yes, funny in a way that I literally bust out laughing and couldn't stop for some time. The girl is able to stitch new hats to wear which give her a variety of new abilities as well as wear badges on the hat which also allow new abilities. The platforming itself takes some getting used to, as it is often hard to determine exactly where you are to land on rope and platforms, especially since something the camera high-jacks the game and doesn't let you move it in places that it would be very helpful to be able to move it. Love platformers? Definitely give this one a try.
I give A Hat in Time a solid 4/5 arbitrary points.
