BBTB: Willow (Movie, 1988)

Willow is a George Lucas story directed by Ron Howard. It tells the tale of a young Nelwyn (dwarf) named Willow, played by Warwick Davis, that finds the child of prophecy that is said to bring the downfall of the evil sorceress. The village of Nelwyn want nothing to do with the human child and send Willow and several others from the village to return her to the land of men. While traveling they meet up with Madmartigan play by Val Kilmer. Willow leaves the child with Madmartigan and proceeds to return home, regretting his decision soon after. Various other adventures take place involving Brownies, Trolls, giant CGI monsters and more! Ultimately, the movie culminates with a grand battle against the evil sorceress with the forces Willow and Madmartigan muster to their aid. If you like fantasy movies this is a must see.
I give this movie a 4.5/5 nostalgia arbitrary points. I loved this movie as a child and don't think it gets the views it should.
