BBTB: Broadband for the world?

Elon Musk, everyone's favorite billionaire, launched the test phase of his low earth orbit satellites earlier this year. This network of satellites is primed to allow broadband internet coverage to, well everyone!  If successful high-speed internet coverage will be available throughout the globe.  Have an issue getting high speed in podunk nowhere like I do?  Problem no more with the projected 1 gigabit per second internet set to service the whole planet with cheap coverage.  I wish Elon Musk and his team at SpaceX all of the luck in completing this project and moving us one step closer to a truly global society.
